Tomato Handmade is a Vietnamese manufacturer of fine handcrafted textile crafts and decorations – macramé, crochet, silk and quilt. Made by artisans in rural villages and inclusive workshops we have worked with for a decade, finished and exported from our own facility in Hanoi.

Some Skill
Can Only Be Inherited
Vạn Phúc has woven silk since the ninth century. In Lùng Tám, Hmong women still grow hemp, ret it in the river and polish the cloth on a stone roller. Industrialisation moved the region’s textile volume elsewhere – it left the skill here.
We are not selling cheap labour – we are selling deep labour. Hands that can knot a four-metre panel without losing tension, quilt a throw over three patient weeks, and reel silk from a lotus stem within a day of cutting it. No mill can buy that, at any price.
Fibre With A Birthplace
Mulberry silk from Bảo Lộc. Lotus-stem silk from Mỹ Đức — around 9,000 stems per scarf. Hmong handwoven hemp from Lùng Tám. Mặc-nưa-dyed Mỹ A silk from Tân Châu.
Cross-craft Pieces
Macramé knotted in hand-dyed silk cord. Crochet trimmed with Mỹ A. Quilted bases with knotted fringe. Single-craft factories cannot quote these.
Colour From Plants
Living indigo vats, madder, ebony fruit, turmeric, mangosteen. Every batch dip- recorded, so reorders land inside an agreed shade tolerance.

Craftwork comes from a network we have built over a decade – rural artisan groups, inclusive workshops, and specialist partners for crochet, silk and macramé. Final production, finishing, inspection, packing and export all happen at Tomato Handmade. You contract with one company, audit one company, and hold one company to the delivery date.
